Preferred Skills · Proven ability to read and understand aerospace assembly drawings and the related tolerances. · Aerospace / other highly regulated industry experience in a FAIR collation / submission role. · A good understanding for Heat Exchangers · Experience of manual inspection and the measuring of parts. Work Experience Roles & Responsibilities: • Lead customer / internal investigations using problem resolution tools and techniques, • Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities to remove waste and improve efficiency, • Identify and implement projects to reduce Scrap, Rework and Repair (SRR), • Advocate an inclusive team environment with a Can Do attitude, • Support Zero Defect Initiative implementation (internal and supply chain), • Champion the use of process robustness tools:, • PPAP - (Product Part Approval Process), • PFMEA - (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), • RRCA (Relentless Root Cause Analysis, • MPR - (Manufacturing Process Review), • Manage Quality Notifications and disposition accordingly, • Carry out any other duties as required to support general operations of the Quality / Manufacturing Department Required Skills and Experience • Demonstrated experience operating in Quality / Manufacturing fields (degree or equivalent is desirable), • Demonstrate a proven background to resolve problems of high complexity using structured techniques, • Experience in relation to fitting, welding & machining is desirable, • Engineering background and technically able to identify and resolve problems, • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings / CMM reports and other engineering technical data is required, • Candidate should have a good familiarity with expectations associated with aerospace or other comprehensive quality assurance systems, including ISO9000 or AS9100, • Experience conducting internal Quality audits or supporting Quality audits by external customers is a plus Please note: We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.
