Duties • Prepare, cook, and present a diverse range of dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards, • Assist in planning menus and developing new recipes to enhance our culinary offerings, • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations, • Oversee kitchen operations during service, ensuring timely delivery of orders, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations, • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service, • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste, • Support training of junior staff members in cooking techniques and safety procedures Requirements • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting, • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices (SFBB), • Experience with meal preparation, plating, and presentation techniques, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service times, • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team, • Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn, • Serving experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for delivering excellent customer service is essential This position offers an engaging environment for culinary professionals eager to develop their skills while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to exceptional dining experiences.
