The Role: • Manage and develop a portfolio of key contacts within housing associations, local authorities, and their contractor networks., • Drive new business by converting leads into sales using a structured, proactive approach., • Present and promote the company’s products and services to potential clients., • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to maximise business opportunities., • Identify, assess, and validate sales opportunities to ensure alignment with the company’s offerings., • Represent the company on relevant procurement frameworks and portals., • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations., • Provide on-site support and technical expertise to customers as required., • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and opportunities. Ideal Candidates will … • Have a proven track record of success in sales within the doors, housing, local authority or construction sectors., • Is comfortable managing tenders, proposals and framework agreements., • Has experience working with technical construction products., • Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills., • Is a natural networker with the tenacity to engage key decision-makers., • Builds strong, trusted relationships with clients and becomes their go-to advisor., • Has a strong desire to learn about the company’s products and solutions., • Is willing to travel extensively across the target geography., • Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets in a business development role.
