This role provides the chance to lead a variety of multi disciplinary projects, manage and develop junior staff, and deliver high-quality electrical design solutions. You will be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, maintaining budgets, and ensuring that all work meets technical and regulatory standards. The successful Senior Electrical Design Engineer will work on diverse projects including Education, Residential Developments, Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Facilities, Condition and Acquisition Surveys, and Contract Administration. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced engineer who thrives in a consultancy environment where design, leadership, and client engagement are all essential. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in a consultancy or large contractor environment, including project management of multi-disciplinary projects. * HNC, Degree, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. * Ability to produce design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, tender packages, and reports, as well as conduct surveys, site inspections, and on-site project management. * Experience mentoring junior staff and liaising directly with clients. * Knowledge of key standards and regulations including CIBSE Guides, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, British Standards, Revit/BIM (UK), and Building Regulations. * Strong computer skills: Windows, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Project, Hevacomp, Amtech, Dialux Evo. * Self motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of taking full ownership of projects from design to completion.
