The Electrical Power Systems Definition team: Working on the UK’s next-generation SSN design that incorporates technology from the UK, Australia and the United States you will be part of the Electrical Power team who are responsible for leading a team of engineers in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process, including design documentation, spatial modelling and build outputs. This role will provide you with an opportunity to travel to various locations throughout the UK, including various BAE, customer and supplier sites. Job objectives and responsibilities: You will form part of the on site team and be responsible for carrying out a wide range of commercial electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs to the various LV electrical systems on site. You will also carry out a multitude of other service tasks unrelated to your primary trade at mentioned locations. Main duties Assist Contract Manager in organisation, management and co-ordination of on-site services to ensure service is maintained to the highest standard in all circumstances • Ability to carry out minor surveys and inspections, • Simple Report writing is essential to the role., • Achieve contract SLA/KPI in all reactive / planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site., • To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time, • To learn, understand and comply with Client policies and procedures, • To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner, using point of work risk assessments where required., • To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures, • To attend and fully participate in training and the annual review / appraisal process as required, • To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required, • To ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements and to assist in any training of the team., • If requested, to assist with the monitoring and supervision of subcontractors on a day to day basis, including apprentices. This to include assisting with the processing and completion of college reports if required., • To perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated water services equipment, including fault diagnostics and repair., • Participate in adherence to Quality System documentation. Qualifications: • NVQ Level 3 Electrical or C&G 2382-18, • Experience in 3 phase and single phase Electrical Installations & Repair, motors, pumps and some controls are desirable, • Competent LV Electrical installation and maintenance excluding testing, • City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications, • Strong customer care focus, • Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge, • Full and Clean driving Licence, • Ability to work at heights is advantageous, • Smart in appearance

What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience delivering multiple Capex projects valued at £1m+ within a regulated manufacturing environment., • Strong project management capability with end-to-end delivery experience., • Solid technical background in process or engineering disciplines., • Degree-qualified in an engineering-related field (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process)., • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills., • Excellent planning, cost control, and organisational abilities., • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Procurement, Legal, Validation, Engineering, and site leadership teams., • Experience within pharmaceutical, bioprocessing, or similarly regulated manufacturing environments., • Exposure to CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems or comparable process engineering projects., • IOSH or NEBOSH certification., • Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, actionable plans for varied audiences.
