Job Title: Certifying Powerplant Engineer Location: Slough Employment Type: Permanent For Permanent Roles: • Salary: DOE, • Benefits:, • 4 day week (Bi-weekly shift), • Annual leave, • Company pension, • Death in Service benefit About the Role On behalf of our client, a UK Independent organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Certifying Powerplant Engineer to sign off routine maintenance, inspections and service bulletins on CFM56 and LEAP Series Aircraft Engines. Key Responsibilities • Performing supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as required, • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures as required, • Follow technical drawings/procedures as needed, • Keeping relevant records updated. Candidate Requirements Essential: • A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry, • Previous experience gained working in an engine shop or aircraft MRO, • Ability to act as certifying staff for engine maintenance and release to service, • Experience performing maintenance on the following engine types would be advantageous: CFM, LEAP, V2500, • Competency to follow appropriate Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures, • Demonstrate required knowledge of Quality Procedures, as well as EASA/FAA Part 145 requirements and procedures, • A sound computer literacy with a basic understanding of the Microsoft Office applications, • Availability to work flexibly, i.e. weekends and holidays if required, • Right to live and work in the UK Desirable: • Availability to work flexibly, i.e. weekends and holidays if required, • B1.1/C License holder Why Work with JMC Aviation?
