Sales Manager – M&E Building Services (Leadership + Business Development) • West London, • Salary based on experience This is not a “sit behind a desk” sales role. This is about leading from the front, building relationships, and driving real revenue within a well-established M&E contractor. We’re working with a respected, building services contractor delivering mechanical, electrical, and public health projects across London and the South East. With a strong reputation across refurbishment, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades, they operate as both a principal contractor and specialist M&E provider. They are now looking for a high-calibre Sales Manager to take ownership of business development, lead a small team, and help shape the next phase of growth. The Role You’ll be responsible for driving new business while overseeing and supporting the existing team. This includes: • Leading business development across M&E projects (refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, upgrades), • Building and maintaining relationships with main contractors, consultants, and key clients, • Leveraging your subcontractor network and market knowledge to win work, • Supporting and developing the internal team in the Perivale office, • Working closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and growth strategy What They’re Looking For • Proven Sales / Business Development leadership within M&E building services, • Strong understanding of both:, • Subcontractor market, • Principal contractor environment, • Established network across London / South East construction market, • Commercially sharp – understands how projects are won, priced, and delivered, • Able to lead a team, not just operate individually They’re ideally looking for someone in the mould of a senior, well-connected industry operator (not entry-level, not purely internal sales).
