    The Ascott Limited UK Corporate Office is seeking a qualified, experienced and capable Procurement Manager to become part of our Procurement team, supporting our properties. Reporting to the Procurement Director, being responsible for the purchase of goods and services to ensure that the Group's European lodging sites operational needs are met. As the Procurement Manager , you will be responsible for: Purchasing goods, materials, components and/or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, developing strategies, and negotiating contracts to secure the best possible prices and terms Creating long-term plans for specific categories of goods and services Preparing reports on procurement activities, analysing data to identify trend Collaborating with various departments within our properties to understand their procurement needs and ensure those needs are met Sourcing environmentally friendly products and services Ensuring contracts are properly managed and adhered to, including renewals and performance monitoring Managing inventory levels to optimize stock turnover and minimize holding costs Staying informed about market trends, new products, and potential suppliers to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation Conducting cost analysis, setting benchmarks, and identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising on quality Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and resolving any issues that may arise Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers Prepare required documents in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organizational targets and requirements. To be successful in the role of Procurement Management , we require: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., supply chain management, business administration and/or finance) Proven experience in Procurement and Strategic sourcing, preferably within the hospitality industry Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication (written/spoken) English & French at business level Ability to work independently and as part of a team Minimum 8 years of experience of relevant working experience in purchasing Background and or experience within technical services purchasing (vendor management, contractor’s, hard services) Certification from Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) a plus Experience in integration activities and change management.     The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of construction activities at the 17 Hertford Street development, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards. Working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives, you will manage on-site operations from mobilisation through to practical completion. Key responsibilities • Manage daily site operations and coordinate all trades., • Ensure work is completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and the agreed programme., • Plan labour requirements and monitor subcontractor performance., • Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance., • Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inspections., • Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager., • Resolve site issues promptly to minimise delays., • Manage quality assurance inspections and snagging activities., • Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics on a constrained central London site., • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and building control., • Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, RFIs, permits, inspections and progress reports., • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and company procedures. Typical duties • Open the site and lead the daily safety briefing., • Inspect progress, identify issues and coordinate corrective action., • Manage subcontractors and allocate labour effectively., • Review drawings and coordinate upcoming works with the Project Manager., • Attend client and design team meetings., • Check the quality of completed work., • Organise deliveries and crane or lifting operations., • Complete progress reports and update the programme., • Conduct end-of-day inspections and plan the following day’s activities. Required experience and skills • Experience managing high-end residential or commercial refurbishment projects., • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site logistics., • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors simultaneously., • Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills., • Experience working on occupied or constrained central London sites is advantageous., • Strong programme management, quality control, construction planning and client management skills., • Good cost awareness and team coordination abilities.
