As an Agriculture Lecturer, you will deliver teaching across our land-based provision, utilising a wide breadth of agriculture knowledge and experience. Responsibilities of this role include; Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons across crops, plant and soil and estate skills. Supporting and guiding students through practical and classroom-based learning Developing course materials and contributing to the ongoing improvement of the Land based curriculum. Assessing and reviewing students progression in the workplace. Ensuring high standards of health, safety, and welfare across all teaching and practical activity areas. What we are looking for; Strong, up-to-date industry experience in agriculture—ideally with knowledge of crops, machinery, estate maintenance, or general farm operations. A passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation, with the ability to explain both theory and practical application clearly. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with confidence delivering to learners of varying abilities. A recognised teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one. It is essential candidates have a full driving licence and the access to a vehicle to use when visiting students in the workplace.
