Role Overview The Venue Director is a key leadership role within Co-op Live’s Executive Committee & Senior Leadership Team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of Venue Management, Ticketing, Fan Experience, Business Development, Special Projects & Experience, and Sustainability. The Venue Director will drive the strategic and operational excellence of the arena, ensuring seamless event delivery, exceptional guest experiences, and innovative commercial initiatives. The Venue Director will deputise for the General Manager when required and play a critical role in shaping the arena’s ongoing development as Europe’s best and most sustainable live entertainment venue. Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute a comprehensive long-term venue operations strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business vision and overall Co-op Live strategic plan., • Act as deputy for the General Manager when required, to ensure continuity of service to all external parties. Participate as Duty Gold. Ensure leadership and support as part of the crisis management plan., • Oversee and continuously improve the fan experience strategy, ensuring Co-op Live delivers best-in-class experiences for fans, artists, promoters, and partners., • Assist the General Manager (GM) in achieving commercial and financial success for the business. This involves emphasising revenue growth across all business areas and creating a framework to optimise returns and profits., • Own and manage the venue operations budget, ensuring cost efficiencies and strategic financial planning for both day-to-day operations and large-scale projects., • Promote a customer service culture throughout the Venue operational departments ensuring that the reputation of Co-op Live is upheld. Maintain, monitor and improve Fan and Promoter satisfaction levels. Oversee the complaint management and resolution process., • Establish and uphold areas of legal compliance and industry-leading best practices by creating and implementing operational manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), ISO accreditation and benchmarking frameworks., • Own the end-to-end ticketing strategy and operations in collaboration with ticketing partners, ensuring systems and allocations support both commercial and fan-first priorities., • Work with the Security & Facilities Director to implement a robust Security Strategy including effective Incident Management, Contingency and Crisis Communication plans, working with all relevant departments ., • Drive operational transformation by implementing strategic initiatives that enhance venue capabilities, efficiency and sustainability. across ticketing, venue activations, hospitality, and non-event day commercial use of the arena., • Champion and manage Special Projects & Experience across the venue from pilot activations to venue innovation, using insights and feedback to shape future improvements. Ensure operational CAPEX requirements are identified, following the Co-op Live CAPEX process with focus on compliance, life cycle, customer experience and EBITDA improvement. POSITION SUMMARY The introductory position of Assistant Casino Host (CAHA) will provide support to the Casino Host (CAHT) onboard each ship. The CAHA will assist in all onboard areas of Casino Marketing and VIP Services. This includes, but is not limited to, all administrative duties & reporting, pre and post cruise preparations, casino rewards and player program responsibilities, advertising & signage, casino tournaments, promotions, special events and casino groups. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s The Royal Way, SQM Policies and Procedures, USPH guidelines, environmental, and safety policies. Each shipboard employee may be required to perform all functions in various service venues and throughout the ship. In accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s philosophy of Anchored in Excellence, each employee always conducts oneself in a professional and courteous manner. This consists of physical and verbal interactions guests or fellow shipboard employees and/or in the presence of guest contact and crew areas. The position of Assistant Casino Host reports directly to the Casino Host. Player program and marketing guidance will be communicated to the shipboard casino teams from the Traveling Casino Host, Manager, Casino Marketing & VIP Services-Shipside and/or Director of Casino Marketing. Casino Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities as needed in order to enhance the overall onboard gaming and guest experience to elevate NPS and drive revenue. · Create and promote a fun & exciting atmosphere for casino guests at all times. · Diligently recruits new players to enroll in Club Royale Rewards Program. · Provide VIP services desk and casino floor coverage as needed to maximize guest interaction. · Upsell, assists and operates Casino tournaments, events and promotions. · Continuous learning and comprehension all casino segments operations including Club Royale, Partnerships and Royal Reps. · Knowledgeable of all shoreside casino marketing offers including terms & conditions of each offer and the qualifying components. · Understands casino products and gaming, theoretical and actual win/loss, tier points, status and rewards efficient for verbal communication · Acquire a strong working knowledge of the following essential software systems: Aristocrat Oasis’ Super Playmate & Omniview, Genesis Pit Watch, Fidelio, CRMS, Siebel, Silverware, Tournament Director and Multimedia, Sharepoint and Smartsheets. · Learn all aspects of Business Intelligence reporting, Arrivals Report, Player Tracking File, Tier Ranking report, EOV Report, Host Folio Comp Report, OBC Report, F&Q Report, Crystal reporting and all Closing Voyage Paperwork. · Daily reporting, including but not limited to; collating daily figures, cruise reports, PC rewards, buddy list, accurate recording of weekly & monthly promotional figures; all to be completed within set timeframes. · Export Oasis and Bravo reports in order to monitor the daily play of all casino members in order to issue complimentary items based on play. · Daily preparation for all complimentary issuance; this includes Instant Rewards Certificates, Tier level upgrades, comp drink cards TTO Prime issued, memos sent for all bookings & reservations, amenities arranged to guest staterooms & any other player requests. · Perform all forms of redemptions throughout the course of a cruise including slot play promotions, mid and end of cruise point redemption. · Organize all upcoming cruise preparations; such as guest count confirmations, welcome letters, Prime TTO sticker for SeaPass cards, amenities & pre-cruise reservation requests and PCP. · Ensure all onboard marketing collateral & advertising is in place. This includes the accuracy & timeliness of all written verbiage being utilized, signage displayed & casino announcements made. · Operate effectively and responsibly under minimal supervision. · Complete all given tasks and responsibilities in an accurate and timely manner with attention to detail. · Follow all casino SQM and SOP guidelines. · Attend casino related meetings and workshops as requested. · Maintain correct inventory levels by reviewing stock on a regular basis & placing orders in a timely manner. · Step-up and perform the full duties of the Casino Host, when required · Fulfill the role of Acting Casino Host in the event of an absence, which may include transferring to a different ship operation. · Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. About the Role The Clinical Lead is responsible for management & coordination of all clinical study management activities for assigned studies per the contracted Scope of Work (SOW), study startup activities including site selection, study team management, and project timelines for Emerald Clinical. The Clinical Lead works closely with Project Leader (PL) and may support the sponsor, investigators, and appropriate staff in each department of Emerald Clinical as needed to help launch and complete the study. The Clinical Lead will lead the clinical operation team (eg. CRAs) to manage trials and sites and have responsibility for assisting the PL with timelines and budget adherence with each trial. The Clinical Lead also works closely with the PL and Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) / Clinical Trial Specialist (CTS) during study startup to manage site feasibility and selection process. As part of the site management responsibilities, the Clinical Lead manages the CRA activities under PL's supervision, reviews trip reports and expense reports as needed, and may assist with the performance of site qualification, site initiation, co-monitoring and/or close-out visits as needed. The Clinical Lead is responsible for demonstrating professional demeanour and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions with both internal and external contacts. Your Responsibilities Clinical Management • Facilitate site selection through feasibility questionnaire process, including input or creation of feasibility questionnaire in collaboration with the sponsors as outlined in the CMP or other study plans, • Oversight of protocol administration including pre-study work, initiation of sites, ongoing progress of trial and close out of sites, including development of study specific forms, annotated reports and customizing templates, as appropriate, • Track and manage clinical management team performance, • Working with the CRAs to ensure site protocol adherence and query resolution. Team Leadership • All clinical activities must be conducted in accordance with project specific documentation, applicable SOPs, ICH GCP and applicable country regulatory requirements., • Maintain effective professional relationships with external customers, investigators and vendors., • Maintain effective professional relationships with internal project team including those providing academic input., • Provide clear guidance to clinical operation team on clinical specific deliverables as agreed with PL., • A Clinical Lead may also continue to undertake site management and monitoring, if they have had previous experience carrying out these tasks on an as needed basis., • Collaborate with the study assigned PL to continually assess study team resourcing needs and make adjustments as needed, identifying if added resources are Out of Scope (OOS) leading to a change order. Financial and Contractual Management • Assist PL to analyze monthly financial reports for clinical aspect to identify trends and reasons behind figures, escalate as required . • Ensure PL understand all clinical aspects of their project finance responsibilities and follow appropriate escalation pathways. Maintain clinical aspects in utilization, revenue forecast and recognition identify and implement strategies for improvement (if required) and escalate any significant concerns to management • Maintain gross margin across allocated projects to meet organizational goals., • Review forecasts for all allocated projects for the clinical aspect in consultation with each allocated PL as needed, during month end billing and Project Finance Analyst meetings at least. Data Management • Ensure the accurate completion and timely collection of data, • Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness and timely data completion, • Ensure complete and efficient resolution of data queries • Manage the study to ensure adherence with all protocol, SOPs, regulations &, • ICH-GCP • Ensure distribution and collection of essential documents, reports and study materials and products to and from clinical sites Customer Focus and Business Development, • Initiate and maintain high level relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including trial sponsor staff, key opinion leaders, hospitals, professional societies and associations where required., • Assist PL to review and contribute to scope change proposals for clinical aspects prior to finalisation and sponsor review, • Provide technical advice and suggestions for process improvement to other areas of Emerald Clinical as required, • May participate in bid defense presentations for clinical service in partnership with Business Development and may lead the presentation for smaller, less complex regional studies. Quality Management • Ensure the clinical management in the allocated projects are conducted in accordance with the Emerald Clinical Quality Management Strategy., • In the event of an audit and/or inspection work with key project team members to ensure inspection/audit readiness and complete follow-up for all team members, • Ensure compliance with file reviews plan and documentation as specified by Sponsor and/or Emerald Clinical, • Ensure co-monitoring activities conducted in accordance with Sponsor and/or Emerald Clinical requirements.
