Chef Manager – Term-Time | £35,000 | Monday–Friday Location: Hereford Working Hours: 7:00am–4:30pm (45 hours per week) Working Weeks: 42 weeks per year (term time, inset days + 3 additional weeks) Are you a passionate and confident leader who loves creating fresh, nutritious food and delivering an exceptional dining experience? We’re looking for a Chef Manager to oversee a busy catering operation and lead a dedicated team. What You’ll Be Doing: As our Chef Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including: • Leading and motivating a team of 1 Cook & 4 General Assistants, • Designing and delivering high-quality, seasonal menus, • Ensuring smooth, efficient service every day, • Managing budgets, stock, ordering, and supplier relationships, • Maintaining the highest food safety and health & safety standards, • Creating a positive, supportive team culture What We’re Looking For: • Experience as a Chef Manager or Senior Chef in a similar setting, • Strong leadership and communication skills, • Passion for fresh food and outstanding service, • Excellent understanding of HACCP, allergens, and food hygiene standards, • Confident managing budgets and operational processes What’s on Offer: • £35,000 annual salary plus upto 10% bonus, • Daytime hours, Monday–Friday, • A term-time schedule offering work–life balance, • Supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth
