The Role As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the smooth running of financial operations across multiple areas, including ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of accounting processes within a supportive team. Key Responsibilities • Processing invoices, credit notes, and receipts across sales and purchase ledgers, • Carrying out credit control activities and credit checks, • Reconciling purchase ledger payments for approval, • Managing cash book entries and performing bank reconciliations, • Supporting costing processes, • Generating and processing sales ledger invoices and applications for payment, • Using accounting systems such as Sage (training provided)About You, • Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role, • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, • Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, • High attention to detail with a methodical, logical approach, • Positive work...
