Key Responsibilities: As School Business Manager you will be responsible for a broad range of duties including: • Safer Recruitment: Leading recruitment processes to ensure the appointment of suitable staff managing induction probation and maintaining the Single Central Register., • Staff Management: Maintaining staff training records managing absence including liaising with Occupational Health and overseeing the wider administrative team., • Premises Health & Safety: Managing health and safety compliance coordinating premises works conducting risk assessments and fulfilling fire warden responsibilities., • Personnel Oversight: Supervising contractors including cleaners kitchen staff and wraparound care personnel., • Excellent organisational and leadership skills., • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities., • Understanding of financial management including budget planning payroll and reporting., • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement., • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children., • Experience in safer recruitment and staff induction processes., • Strong knowledge of health and safety management and compliance., • Experience in managing personnel and contractors within an educational setting.
