We're looking for a Senior PR Manager to fix that: someone who can own Growthcurve's external profile, get us into the publications, podcasts, stages and conversations that matter, and make sure the industry knows what we're actually doing. THE ROLE You own how Growthcurve shows up in the world. Press coverage, industry awards, founder profiles, thought leadership, speaking opportunities, podcast appearances, trade media, national media, agency rankings, client case studies getting picked up externally: if it's about Growthcurve's profile, it runs through you. You'll work closely with our founders, the wider leadership team and our clients to build and execute a PR strategy that positions Growthcurve as the most talked-about growth marketing agency in the market. You'll bring the relationships, the instincts and the hustle to make it happen. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Strategy & Storytelling • Develop and own Growthcurve's PR and communications strategy, setting clear goals for coverage, profile-building and thought leadership across a rolling 12-month horizon., • Identify the stories worth telling: client wins, campaign case studies, industry perspectives, commercial milestones, cultural moments and founder narratives that earn genuine attention., • Craft press releases, pitches, bylines and commentary that sound like us, not like a template., • Work in close partnership with the founders and senior leadership to develop their profiles as industry voices, including LinkedIn presence, bylines, interviews, panels and podcasts. Media Relations & Coverage • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and producers across marketing, advertising, tech, business and consumer media in the UK and internationally., • Secure coverage across the outlets that matter: trade press (Campaign, The Drum, Adweek, Marketing Week), business press (FT, Bloomberg, Sifted), tech press (TechCrunch, Wired) and national media where the story warrants it., • Pitch reactively to breaking news, cultural moments and industry developments, getting Growthcurve's voice into conversations as they happen., • Own relationships with the key journalists covering the agency and growth marketing world, becoming the first call when they need a comment, quote or insight. Awards, Rankings & Industry Recognition • Identify, enter and win the awards and rankings that build Growthcurve's credibility: Campaign agency awards, The Drum, Effies, Cannes Lions where relevant, agency growth rankings and industry lists., • Manage the full awards process end-to-end: selecting categories, writing entries, gathering case study material, coordinating submissions and tracking outcomes., • Build a library of exceptional, publicly usable case studies with support from the account and creative teams. Thought Leadership & Content • Lead the development of Growthcurve's thought leadership output: reports, frameworks, opinion pieces and commentary that give the industry something genuinely useful to engage with., • Work with internal subject matter experts to translate their knowledge into publishable content., • Own the editorial calendar for agency-owned channels where PR and thought leadership intersect, partnering with the marketing and social teams. Events, Speaking & Presence • Identify and secure speaking opportunities for founders and senior team at the events that matter: industry conferences, panels, podcasts, roundtables and network events., • Own Growthcurve's presence at key industry moments, from agency breakfasts to global marketing conferences., • Build and manage relationships with key industry bodies, networks and communities where Growthcurve should be visible. Commercial & Cross-functional Partnership • Work closely with the new business team to ensure PR activity supports commercial growth, providing air cover for pitches, case studies for prospects and credibility moments that accelerate deals., • Partner with clients on joint PR opportunities where the story benefits both parties, handling those conversations with diplomacy and professionalism., • Measure and report on the commercial impact of PR activity: coverage, share of voice, inbound inquiries influenced, pitch-win correlation and profile-building metrics. WHO YOU ARE • 6+ years of PR experience, ideally with meaningful time at a PR agency, in-house at a creative or marketing business, or both., • A strong little black book of UK media contacts across marketing, advertising, tech and business press., • A proven track record of securing high-quality coverage in tier-one publications, not just placements in volume., • A natural storyteller: you find the angle others miss and you can write pitches, bylines and press releases that actually get read., • Commercially sharp: you understand how PR ladders up to business outcomes and you measure your work accordingly., • Proactive, organised and self-directed, comfortable owning your patch end-to-end without heavy oversight., • Confident working directly with founders and senior leaders, able to advise, challenge and prepare them for media moments with authority., • Genuinely interested in marketing, creativity, technology and business, able to speak credibly about what Growthcurve does and why it matters.
