Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum. ? Hybrid: Minimum of 2 days in the office per week We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst who is passionate about delivering excellent service to customers and excited to work with a range of newly developed products built on leading technologies. As an Application Support Analyst, you will: • Manage and resolve customer support tickets using a ticketing system, • Monitor and meet SLAs and team goals, • Investigate, analyse, and resolve issues raised by customers, • Read, understand, and occasionally amend code to support issue resolution, • Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and guidance, • Document technical specifications and support-related information, • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements, • Collaborate with a distributed team across locations We’re looking for someone who can bring a strong foundation in application support, with the ability to investigate issues, communicate effectively, and contribute to team success. You should be able to demonstrate: Essential experience and skills: • Experience working in an application or technical support role, • Ability to analyse, investigate and resolve customer issues, • Strong communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to explain technical concepts to a variety of audiences, • A good understanding of web-based or desktop Client Server architectures, • Solid technical grounding with the ability to read and interpret code, • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time and priorities, • A collaborative approach and comfort working in distributed or hybrid teams If you have experience with some of the technologies below, even better — but if you don’t, we’ll support your development: • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, • C#, AngularJS, XML, • JavaScript (ES6), HTML, CSS, • REST APIs and JSON, • MongoDB, • Version control tools such as Git, • Unix/Linux environments, • PowerBuilder, • Backend programming (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, .NET) and frameworks like Node, Django, or Spring, • ITIL qualification At SBS, we’re committed to supporting our employees in every aspect of their lives, from health and wellbeing to financial security and lifestyle perks.
