You will lead your class team with clarity, compassion, and high expectations — ensuring every pupil receives the highest quality education and care. This is a role for someone who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and making a real difference every single day What You’ll Be Doing • Designing and delivering engaging schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with the Kestrel House curriculum and individual pupil targets., • Creating practical, meaningful, and contextual learning opportunities that build independence and prepare pupils for adulthood., • Organising an inspiring and well‑structured learning environment with high‑quality resources., • Providing strong, supportive line management to your class team., • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils and maintaining professional, proactive communication with parents and carers., • Using assessment tools effectively to track, record, and celebrate pupil progress., • Fostering a genuine love of learning and ensuring every pupil is challenged to reach their full potential., • Supporting the wellbeing, safety, and behaviour of pupils in line with school policies., • Demonstrating excellent practice and working collaboratively with colleagues across the school., • Communicating clearly and professionally with all stakeholders., • Developing your expertise in teaching autistic pupils, staying aligned with best practice and sharing knowledge with the wider team.
