We are working with Schools and Local Authorities in your area and are looking for Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers like you to transform the lives of Young People with SEND and SEMH needs in your community! We are looking for SEND Tutors and Teachers with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners – take control of your teaching journey with us and work flexibly, creatively, and in a trauma-informed way to make a difference in your own life and the lives of the young people we support. • Competitive pay: £28 - £35 per hour, • Flexible working: In person, hybrid, and work from home teaching opportunities, • Flexible hours: Flexible part-time up to full-time hours to suit your schedule, • CPD and employee mentoring: TES CPD suite and professional mentor access, • SEND Support Team: Support to keep a team around you and the child, • Community and Company Events: Knowledge sharing and resources, • Referral Programme: Get rewarded for successful tutor referrals, • A Role with Purpose: Join a child-centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people for the better, • Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way, • Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science, • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS), • Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references, • Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote / online jobs, • Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment, • Provide in person, online / remote, and hybridMaths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs, • Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring, • Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress, • We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
