You must be very friendly and professional in your approach, you’ll be the first impression our guests have when they enter the restaurant. The Role: - Draw up client booking table plan of the restaurant and ensure that tables are set before clients’ arrival using our digital online booking platform. - Manage the front desk by receiving incoming calls, greeting and attending to customers needs. - Inform guests about the availability of tables and direct them to the table(s) once they arrive. - Keep records of guests who visit the restaurant. - Assist customers with answers to queries, and offer solutions to issues within your capacity. - Collaborate with other restaurant staff and the management to ensure that customers requests are properly attended to in a timely manner. - Ensure that clients make payments for services before they exit the restaurant. - Check restaurant’s emails and respond to them accordingly; draw the attention of management to certain mails when necessary. - Communicate with other staff, such as informing them of clients’ bookings, needs or potential complaints. - Happy to work evenings and most weekends.
