MG Engineering is expanding and seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator (MIG/TIG) to join our skilled team. This is a full-time, permanent role offering £16-£20 per hour (DoE) , long-term security, varied fabrication work, and opportunities to develop your skills on high-profile engineering projects. About the role: As a Welder / Fabricator / Fitter, you will be responsible for the general fabrication of our full range of products from small components up to multi-story structures. In addition, you will possess the following key skills and experience: Competency in welding/fabrication of mild steel. (essential) MIG Welding, TIG Welding (essential) Time served to a minimum of NVQ level preferred Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a related industry Ability to read engineering drawings, produce cutting lists, and then produce fabrications unaided Competent in the use of workshop machinery - saws, grinders, drills, etc. Competency in welding/fabrication of Stainless Steel.
