Fabricator/Welder - Taunton Location: Taunton, Somerset Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £15-£18 per hour, depending on experience Salary Equivalent: £31,000-£38,000 DOE Overtime: Available Start Date: As soon as available We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established fabrication company based in Taunton. This is a great opportunity to join a respected business working on a wide range of bespoke architectural, secondary and structural steel fabrication projects across the South West. The role will involve: Fabricating and welding a variety of bespoke steelwork Working from fabrication drawings Producing items such as stairs, gantries, walkways, handrails, balconies and structural steelwork Working as part of a skilled workshop team Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail Using modern workshop equipment and fabrication processes The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 3 years' experience in fabrication/welding Experience working from fabrication drawings Background in structural steel, architectural metalwork or bespoke fabrication Good attention to detail Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative Good timekeeping and reliability Willingness to learn new equipment and processes Experience with tube bending machines or robotic welding sy...
