They are now seeking a Senior Engineer for their growing geotechnical team based in Cambridge, to work on a range of site investigation projects in the region and beyond. The role will involve a mixture of site and office‑based work, focused around geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations. The department is led by a principal, with senior engineers responsible for supervising a small team of engineers. Their talented staff is at the core of their ability to successfully meet clients’ needs. Offering technical and management training, they encourage taking on responsibilities early on in your career, with many opportunities for progression and promotion. • Deliver geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigations, including specifying, quoting, managing, and interpreting ground investigation., • Provide routine geotechnical assessments such as foundation recommendations, ground improvement advice, earthworks methodologies, slope stability assessments, and settlement modelling., • Contribute to the production of high‑quality technical reports within an established and growing geotechnical engineering team., • Collaborate with colleagues, supervising and supporting junior engineers and graduates., • Degree in a relevant subject (master’s degree typically expected)., • Chartered geologist status or actively working towards chartership., • Minimum 5 years relevant industry background., • Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and demonstrable track record in geotechnical site investigation and assessment., • Excellent communication skills., • Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams., • Background mentoring junior staff., • Full UK driving licence., • Competitive salary and benefits., • Varied and challenging projects., • Supportive and inspiring work environment., • Technical and management training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
