What you’ll be doing as a Customer Water Quality Officer You’ll be on the move a lot, travelling between different customers and sites, working as part of a lively team covering quite a large area. Job description Role Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to support our financial planning, reporting, and business partnering activities. Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, this position will be responsible for owning non-compensation expense analysis and reporting, while serving as a key finance partner to our internal support functions including Finance, HR, Facilities, Legal, Integrity, and Content teams. The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in the monthly close process, budget preparation, and operational financial analysis. This role provides consultation to revenue-generating business units and supports advanced modelling initiatives. This position is ideal for a finance professional looking to deepen their FP&A expertise while building strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis Own monthly P&L reporting for non-compensation expenses , ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery Support monthly financial close activities and variance analysis across all expense categories Prepare detailed expense analysis and commentary for management reporting packages Monitor expense trends and proactively identify cost-saving opportunities or budget risks Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests Budgeting & Forecasting Support the annual budgeting process for non-compensation expenses , partnering with budget owners across the organization Support quarterly forecast updates for expense categories, ensuring alignment with business activities and strategic priorities Develop and maintain budget tracking tools and documentation Ensure budget assumptions are well-supported, defensible, and properly documented Business Partnering - Internal Functions Serve as the primary FP&A partner for Finance, HR, Facilities, Legal, Integrity, and Content teams Build strong relationships with budget owners and department heads across internal support functions Provide financial insights, budget tracking, and decision support to partnered functions Translate departmental needs into financial requirements and communicate financial constraints clearly Participate in business planning discussions and provide financially sound recommendations Support business case development and ROI analysis for internal initiatives Required profile Essential Experience 3-5+ years of progressive finance experience, with exposure to FP&A, financial reporting, or management accounting Part-Qualified (preferably CIMA) contemplated Demonstrated experience managing expense budgets and reporting processes Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate variances and identify root causes Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders and translating financial concepts for diverse audiences Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines Background in media, sports, technology, or professional services environment is advantageous Skills & Attributes Strong financial analysis and modelling skills with advanced Excel proficiency Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and high degree of accuracy Solid understanding of P&L statements, expense accounting, and budgeting processes Strong communication skillsable to explain financial information clearly to non-finance partners Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with ability to work independently Collaborative working style with ability to build effective relationships across functions Intellectually curious with desire to understand business operations and commercial drivers Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Professional maturity and sound business judgment What we offer Why work at Stats Perform?
