Process and Improvement Lead Wales (hybrid working) The Organisation Our client works to improve outcomes for families by supporting welfare and learning. They achieve this by helping to strengthen the workforce, drive service improvements, and use data and research to inform best practice. They are now looking for a Process and Improvement Lead to join them on a fixed-term contract until 30th April 2026, with the possibility of extension. This role is offered with flexible working options, and they will consider candidates as part of a job share. You must be based in the UK to apply for this role and be able to visit one of their offices in Wales when required. The Benefits • Salary of £49,698 - £54,687 per annum, • 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, • Local government pension scheme, • Flexible work policy, • Hybrid working from home and an office as required, • Family leave policy The Role As the Process and Improvement Lead, you’ll help to shape how welfare and learning data is captured, processed, and used across Wales. Specifically, you’ll lead projects that identify challenges in the way data is captured and work with users to design and build scalable solutions, improve processes and enhance service design. Working closely with professionals and partner organisations, you’ll collaborate with an external supplier to deliver a rapid discovery project, as well as working with external organisations to gather insights to create actionable recommendations and pilot projects. About You To join our client as a Process and Improvement Lead, you will need: • Experience in a service design, change management or business analyst role, • Experience of service standards, data/digital transformation, and systems integration, • Experience utilising user-centred approaches in large-scale transformation projects, • Experience of service design, user-centred design, and service transformation, evidenced by a relevant degree, post-graduate qualification and/or equivalent experience, • Knowledge and understanding of the principles of service design and whole systems thinking, • Knowledge of systems and data and the challenges faced by welfare organisations in capturing, maintaining and using their data effectively The closing date for this role is 21st November 2025.
