About the role I’m looking for a creative, proactive and multi-skilled person to work alongside me as my business grows. This is a flexible, ad-hoc role for someone who wants to gain real-world experience while contributing their existing creative skills and knowledge to a growing business. I’m looking for someone who can work independently, bring their own ideas and take initiative. You should already have practical experience or a strong working knowledge in at least one or more relevant creative areas. You will not be expected to know everything, and there are certain aspects of the business that I can train you on as we work together. However, this is not a role for someone starting from scratch. I need someone who can confidently take on tasks within their area of expertise without requiring constant supervision or step-by-step instruction. What you’ll be involved in Depending on the project, this could include: • Graphic design and developing new designs, • T-shirt, apparel and product printing, • Content creation for TikTok, Instagram and other social platforms, • Photography, filming and creative content planning, • Product development and coming up with innovative product ideas, • Garment and fashion-related projects, • Sewing and garment development as the business grows, • Learning and experimenting with different creative techniques and materials, • Brainstorming campaigns, launches and new concepts, • Helping turn ideas into finished products, • Creative problem-solving and finding practical ways to execute ideas, • General creative/business support when needed Skills & experience You don’t need to be an expert in every area listed above. I’m particularly interested in someone with experience in graphic design, apparel printing, DTF/HTV, sublimation, Cricut or other cutting machines, content creation, photography, fashion, garment production, sewing or product development. Having a strong skill set in a few of these areas is more important than knowing everything. There will be things I can teach you and train you on as we work together, particularly when it comes to my own processes, equipment and way of working. At the same time, I need you to bring your own knowledge and expertise to the role. You should be comfortable taking responsibility for tasks within your skill set, making suggestions and working without constant supervision. Who this role would suit This could be a great opportunity for someone who: • Has existing creative or practical skills they want to develop further, • Wants to build their portfolio through real projects, • Is studying or has recently studied fashion, design, media, marketing or another creative subject, • Wants flexible work around other commitments, • Enjoys learning new skills while also sharing their own knowledge, • Is naturally creative and enjoys developing new ideas, • Is proactive, reliable and able to work independently, • Wants to grow with a small creative business and potentially take on more responsibility over time Payment & progression This is a flexible, project-based opportunity, so the amount of work will vary depending on upcoming projects and the support required. Payment will be discussed openly with the successful applicant based on their experience, skills and the work involved. The role is particularly suited to someone who wants to gain experience, build their portfolio and develop their professional skills while receiving paid opportunities. As the business grows, there will be opportunities to take on more projects, responsibility and paid work. If your contribution helps the business take on more work and generate more income, I want your role and earning potential to have the opportunity to grow alongside it. I’m looking for someone interested in building a long-term creative working relationship, rather than someone I need to replace every time a new skill or project comes up. If you’re creative, hands-on, independent and enjoy turning ideas into something real, I’d love to hear from you.
