We are partnering with a growing specialist litigation funder to appoint an experienced Case Manager to support and manage a portfolio of funded legal matters. This opportunity is well suited to someone who is a case handler with Bridging expereince looking for a step up. The Case Manager will be responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of funded cases, acting as a key point of contact between the business, external advisers, and other stakeholders. The role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage legal and financial risk throughout the lifecycle of a case. Key Responsibilities Case & Portfolio Management • Manage a portfolio of funded matters from post-investment through to conclusion, • Monitor progress against agreed milestones, budgets, and timelines, • Review and analyse regular case updates, reports, and cost schedules, • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for external advisers and professional partners, • Maintain clear and professional communication with internal stakeholders, • Prepare internal case summaries, progress reports, and investment updates, • Support financial tracking, drawdowns, and cost forecasting, • Ensure matters are managed in line with funding agreements and internal policies, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation, • Assist with due diligence on new opportunities where required Essential • Proven experience in a case management, legal operations, litigation funding, Completions officer or structured finance role, • Strong working knowledge of Bridging Finance or short-term secured lending, including deal structuring, drawdowns, and risk assessment, • Solid understanding of risk management within time-sensitive, asset-backed transactions, • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills, • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, • Experience within litigation funding, disputes finance, or a law firm, • Exposure to property-backed or alternative finance products, • Experience managing complex or high-value matters, • Commercially minded and detail-oriented, • Calm and methodical under pressure, • Professional and confident dealing with senior stakeholders, • Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative, • High levels of discretion and integrity
