Education & Wellbeing Co-ordinator / Internal Recruitment Consultant Service: Education & Family Wellbeing Service (EFWS) Location: Hackney Wick (Full-time, office-based) Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 About EFWS Our Education & Family Wellbeing Service (EFWS) provides specialist tuition and wellbeing-focused educational support to children and young people with mental health, behavioural, and emotional needs. We also work with young people who are not currently engaging with mainstream education, often due to complex personal, social, or emotional circumstances. We work closely with families, local authorities, and professionals to ensure each young person receives consistent, compassionate, and high-quality support. Our service is purpose-led, growing quickly, and built around a strong, fast-paced, and collaborative office culture. The Role We are seeking an organised, confident, and proactive Education & Wellbeing Co-ordinator / Internal Recruitment Consultant to support the day-to-day running of EFWS. This is a varied role combining service coordination, internal recruitment, stakeholder liaison, and operational support. You will play a central role in coordinating tutors, supporting families, liaising with councils, and assisting our Head Teacher, ensuring the service runs smoothly and delivers a high standard of care and education. Key Responsibilities Service & Operations Coordination • Supporting the day-to-day running of the EFWS service, • Coordinating tutor timetables and availability, • Acting as a key point of contact for families, responding to queries in a professional and compassionate manner, • Maintaining regular communication with tutors, • Supporting tutors to meet service expectations and quality standards, • Assisting with issue resolution and escalating concerns where appropriate, • Writing and posting tutor adverts across relevant platforms, • Managing applications, shortlisting candidates, and arranging interviews, • Supporting interviews and selection processes, • Attending meetings with local councils and external professionals when required, • Supporting communication and coordination between EFWS, councils, and families, • Assisting the Head Teacher with administrative and operational tasks, • Supporting planning, documentation, and service development work, • Maintaining accurate systems and records, • Thrives in a fast-paced, office-based environment, • Is highly organised with strong attention to detail, • Communicates confidently and professionally with families, tutors, and professionals, • Has excellent people skills and emotional intelligence, • Is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, • Has an interest in education, wellbeing, mental health, or supporting vulnerable young peopleWhy Join Us?, • Be part of a service that genuinely supports vulnerable children and young people, • A varied role with real responsibility and impact, • Opportunity to grow and develop within a purpose-led service, • Supportive, driven team culture in a dynamic Hackney Wick office
