The Track Marshal is a key part of the Daytona experience, responsible for ensuring driver safety, enforcing racing protocols, and supporting race control to deliver an exciting and professional event. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Track Operations • Monitor the circuit from assigned marshal posts and maintain full situational awareness throughout each session., • Use flags, lights, and radio communication effectively and in accordance with training and regulations., • Respond quickly and safely to on-track incidents, recovering karts and assisting drivers as required., • Maintain control of the pit lane and start/finish areas, ensuring they are kept clear and organised., • Perform kart recovery and relocation tasks safely using correct manual handling techniques and PPE. Event Support • Assist with the preparation of the circuit and pit lane prior to race sessions including cone layout, signage, tyre barriers and briefing areas., • Ensure accurate implementation of event procedures as directed by the Race Director., • Proactively communicate with the Race Director regarding any safety issues, unusual driver behaviour, or mechanical concerns.
