If you know how to do something, go for it and get on with it independently. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will use your experience to play an integral part in the business. You will work in a small multidisciplinary team to develop exciting new electronic products for a wide range of applications, including medical devices, wearables, and the Internet of Things. The Position: • Work from customer requirements to define and develop new products, • Collaborate in a team environment to deliver innovative solutions, • Design custom electronic circuit boards, including schematic capture and PCB layout, • Board bring-up, verification and test Required Skills and Experience: • Minimum 5+ years of electronics design experience in industry, • Degree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related discipline, • Board design, including schematic capture and PCB layout, • Good knowledge of Analogue and Digital Design, including architecture, component selection, design for manufacture, and design for EMC, • Experience designing with microprocessors/microcontrollers, memory devices, programmable logic, power supplies, and wireless communications Advantageous: • Experience with WIFI, Bluetooth, Zigbee, • Experience with Altium Designer, • C / C++ / Python, • Embedded software development, • Prior work in a consultancy or R&D position Location: Hybrid/ Harpenden, Hertfordshire Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (+Bonus) Commensurate with experience Hours: 40 hr. per week.
