Business Commercial Analyst Location: Bromley, London Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum + bonus Start Date: Immediate Our client, a well-established and expanding insurance business that forms part of one of the world’s largest insurance groups, is seeking a driven and ambitious Business Commercial Analyst to join their growing Commercial Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early-career analyst to develop within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial organisation backed by the stability and resources of a large international group. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Senior Business Commercial Analyst, supporting the delivery of a rolling three-year growth strategy. You’ll provide key commercial insight, financial analysis, and performance reporting, helping the business scale its niche insurance products across international markets. Role Responsibilities: Strategic & Commercial Support • Support the development and execution of the company’s three-year strategic growth plan., • Provide financial and commercial analysis to support business decision-making., • Assist in the delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple product lines., • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking activities. Reporting & Performance Analysis • Analyse sales pipeline data and monitor existing customer performance., • Produce regular management reporting and performance dashboards., • Support cost-to-service and profitability analysis to improve operational efficiency., • Present insights using clear and effective data visualisation techniques. Market & Competitor Research • Conduct market research to identify new growth opportunities., • Carry out competitor analysis and mapping., • Support data-driven initiatives to strengthen new customer acquisition. Sales & Marketing Enablement • Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations and new sales materials., • Support underwriting and commercial teams with data-backed insights., • Contribute to marketing strategy initiatives aligned to business objectives. Stakeholder Collaboration • Work cross-functionally with underwriting, finance, and senior leadership teams., • Support team members through clear communication and commercially focused insight., • Play an active role in business change initiatives as the organisation continues its growth journey. Skills / Experience: • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (essential)., • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills., • Experience working with data analysis and reporting; exposure to data visualisation tools is advantageous., • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively., • Strong research skills and attention to detail., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders., • Commercially minded with the ability to think strategically while maintaining analytical rigour., • Proactive, resilient, and eager to take ownership within a small, high-performing team.
