This is a responsible, field-based role where you will make in-person visits, manage a varied caseload and deal with a wide range of people and circumstances. Some situations will be sensitive or challenging, so you will need confidence, empathy, resilience and strong judgement. You will be fully supported through a structured 12-week training programme, helping you gain your City & Guilds Taking Control of Goods Certification and develop a respected professional pathway in enforcement. What youll be doing Carrying out enforcement activity, including executing Liability Orders Making in-person visits to residents and businesses Assessing individual circumstances and securing payments or recovering goods where required Managing a varied caseload, including persistent evasion and high-priority cases Using investigative skills to locate individuals and gather relevant information Identifying non-compliance or evasion tactics and responding with evidence-led solutions Handling sensitive conversations, including with vulnerable people, using empathy and professionalism Maintaining accurate records, managing payments and following legal, regulatory and operational requirements Working flexibly, including early mornings, some evenings and occasional weekends Travelling as required, with some overnight stays where necessary Why your background could be a strong fit This role could suit people from the police, prison service, armed forces, fire service, ambulance service, custody, security, field compliance, local authority enforcement, public-facing operations or similar backgrounds .
