With over 1.4GW of projects in development and a significant build programme planned over the next few years, this is an opportunity to take real ownership of grid connections and work closely with senior stakeholders in a lean, high-growth environment. The Role Working alongside the Grid Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing grid and connection activities across multiple projects, supporting developments from origination through to pre-energisation. This role could suit someone with: • 1–3+ years’ experience in grid, power systems or connections, • Experience from a DNO, ICP, power consultancy or renewable energy developer, • A good understanding of UK grid connection processes, • Confidence to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks, • A collaborative, open and approachable working style Previous “lead” experience is not essential, this role is about ownership and growth rather than people management. Working Style & Location • Based in St Helens, Merseyside, • Expectation to be in the office around 3 days per week once established, • More time in the office initially to get up to speed, integrate with the team and understand internal processes, • Collaborative, open-plan working environment with close interaction across planning, commercial and development teams What’s On Offer • Competitive salary depending on experience (£35k–£70k guide), • Project-based incentives and performance bonus, • Exposure to a large and growing renewable energy pipeline, • Clear development and progression opportunities in a scaling IPP environment
