    Assistant General Manager — Progression to General Manager MEAA London MEAA is looking for an ambitious, experienced Assistant General Manager to join our London restaurant with a clear objective: develop into the General Manager role within approximately 3–6 months. This is not a conventional AGM position. We are looking for someone capable of becoming the person ultimately responsible for one of our busiest restaurants. MEAA London is a high-volume operation serving approximately 4,000 covers per week, with around 150 covers and generating approximately £100,000 in weekly revenue. It combines the pace and complexity of a major-volume restaurant with the standards, attention to detail and personal service expected from a premium hospitality business. The opportunity You will initially work alongside the existing management team, learning the MEAA operation, culture and standards while progressively taking responsibility for the restaurant. The 3–6 month development period will cover the full GM remit, including: * Leading a large FOH and management team through high-volume services * Maintaining consistently high standards across up to 4,000 weekly covers * Taking ownership of guest experience and handling issues confidently * Recruitment, onboarding, training and development * Building a strong management and supervisory team beneath you * Rotas, labour deployment and productivity * Sales performance and commercial decision-making * Wage and operating cost control * Restaurant P&L understanding and accountability * Driving average spend and identifying revenue opportunities * Maintaining service, presentation, cleanliness and brand standards * Using guest feedback and operational data to improve performance * Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen leadership * Developing regular customers and ensuring our best guests are recognised * Leading pre-shifts, management meetings and performance reviews * Taking increasing responsibility for the entire operation until ready to step into the GM position Who we’re looking for We are not looking for someone who simply wants their next AGM job. We’re looking for somebody who wants to run a substantial restaurant and can demonstrate that they have the potential to do so. You will probably already be a strong AGM, Deputy GM or experienced senior restaurant manager within a high-volume operation and feel ready for the next step. You should be comfortable operating in an environment doing £100k+ per week and understand that delivering 4,000 covers requires organisation, pace and strong management rather than simply being visible on the restaurant floor. You should be: * A strong and confident leader * Commercially aware * Highly organised * Excellent with guests * Comfortable managing and developing people * Calm during extremely busy services * Able to hold people accountable without creating a negative culture * Obsessed with consistency and detail * Comfortable working with numbers and KPIs * Able to identify problems before they become problems * Hands-on when necessary, without becoming trapped in individual sections * Ambitious enough to want responsibility for the whole business Experience in a high-volume premium restaurant, busy independent group or quality multi-site restaurant business would be particularly relevant. What success looks like This role comes with a genuine progression plan. During your first months you will be expected to demonstrate that you can progressively take ownership of: People → Service → Operations → Commercial Performance → The Entire Restaurant The intention is that, once you have demonstrated that you can consistently operate the restaurant to the required standard, you will progress into the General Manager position. This is therefore an opportunity for someone who is already close to GM level but wants the opportunity, support and scale to make that step. About Us We are a new, small, quality-led provider opening a 2 /3 bed children's home in Enfield for children aged 6-17 years with Learning Disabilities, Autism and communication needs. We will open with 1 child for the first 3 months to ensure safe settling, relationship building and quality embedding, then build to 2 children with a potential to scale up to three. Our approach is low arousal, communication first (Makaton/PECS/intensive interaction), PBS, PACE and child-centred care. ABOUT THE ROLE You will be responsible for providing professional dog walking and pet sitting services for our clients across London. Dog walks involve collecting dogs on foot and walking between 1-4 dogs at a time for up to 3 hours. Some dogs are exercised on lead, while others are walked off lead. Pet sitting assignments may include daytime visits, overnight stays and weekend bookings in clients' homes. As our services are based around our clients' schedules, applicants must be available Monday-Friday between 7am-4pm. Occasional evening, weekend and overnight pet sitting assignments may also be available. AREAS WE COVER Your main working area: Finsbury Park, Islington, Hampstead, Tufnell Park You may also occasionally work in: Camden, Regent's Park, Paddington, Notting Hill, Chiswick, Hammersmith, Walthamstow HOURS Up to 20 hours a week PAY Dog walking: £13 per hour/ completed walk (not per dog) Paid monthly upon receipt of a valid invoice Pet sitting: 1-3 hours: £13 per hour 4+ hours or overnight sitting: £40 per day/night ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Applicants must: -Be aged 21 or over -Have professional dog handling experience -Be confident walking dogs both on and off lead -Have experience working with dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments -Be physically fit and capable of walking for up to 3 hours -Be self-employed (or willing to register as self-employed) -Be able to commit to a minimum of 6 months -Be available Monday-Friday between 7am and 4pm -Be available for occasional evenings, weekends and overnight pet sitting -Be a non-smoker -Be an iPhone user with sufficient mobile data -Have excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills -Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS The following must be obtained during the trial period (at the applicant's expense): -Proof of identity and right to work in the UK -DBS check -Public Liability Insurance TRIAL ASSESSMENT Successful applicants will complete a 1-month trial period. During the trial you will be assessed on your ability to: -Independently walk up to 3 dogs together, both on and off lead -Safely handle dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments -Walk for up to 3 hours at a time -Manage dog behaviour and interactions confidently -Clean and dry dogs after walks where required -Feed and care for pets -Use GPS tracking and mobile applications to provide live client updates -Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service and professionalism PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Please note that experience gained solely from caring for your own pets, or pets belonging to family or friends, will not be considered professional experience. Applicants should be able to provide references from previous employers or established pet care businesses. We provide independent stylists with a well-equipped, professional environment where they can manage their own clients and grow their business. We are looking to work with ambitious stylists who value independence, professionalism and long-term growth. Role Description We are looking for a Self-Employed Hair Stylist to join Neréa on a chair-rental basis. Chair rental is £450 per week and includes: • Styling chair and mirror, • Backwash facilities, • Hair products, • Use of the salon workspace and facilities, • No commission taken from your earnings You will manage your own clients, appointments and income while operating independently from the Neréa studio. For the right person, there may also be an opportunity after approximately 12 months to discuss further progression with Neréa, including the possibility of operating a future salon or franchise location. Any such opportunity would be based on performance and subject to separate agreement. Qualifications • Professional hairdressing experience, • Relevant hairdressing qualifications, • Confident working independently, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Reliable and professional approach, • Ability to maintain or develop your own client base, • Appropriate insurance for self-employed hairdressing, • Ambition to grow and develop your own business Experience in cutting, colouring, styling, extensions or specialist hair services is welcomed.
