Position: Contract Administrator Location: Havant, Hampshire Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE + £525/month Car Allowance + Healthcare + Bonus We are proud to be working with a well-established and highly respected Civil Engineering Contractor, delivering major infrastructure, water, coastal defence and environmental projects across the South of England. Contract Administrator Salary & Benefits • £28,000 - £30,000 starting salary DOE, • £525 per month car allowance, • Discretionary bonus scheme, • Pension scheme with employer contributions, • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, • Private Healthcare, • Long-term career progression and mentoring, • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects, • Supportive and collaborative working environment, • Training and development opportunities Contract Administrator Job Overview • Supporting the Contracts and Project Management teams across major civil engineering projects, • Assisting with programme monitoring, project coordination and reporting, • Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders, • Supporting commercial and contractual processes across live projects, • Monitoring project documentation, progress and compliance requirements, • Assisting with procurement activities and subcontractor coordination, • Supporting project reviews and operational meetings, • Developing an understanding of NEC contracts and project delivery processes, • Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme constraints, • Working closely with senior leadership to gain broad operational exposure Contract Administrator Job Requirements • Degree qualified within Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, • Commercial awareness and business-minded approach, • Ability to work independently and use initiative, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ambitious and eager to develop a long-term career within Contracts Management, • Full UK Driving Licence preferred, • Previous placement, internship or construction industry exposure advantageous, • Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
