Every galette and crêpe that leaves our kitchen reflects our standards, attention to detail and pride in what we do. We are looking for an experienced Chef or Crêpier who is confident working independently, highly organised and able to stay calm under pressure. This is not an entry-level kitchen position. Previous crêpier experience is a major advantage, but it is not essential. We can teach you our recipes, techniques and standards. What we cannot teach from scratch is professional kitchen discipline, organisation, consistency and the ability to manage yourself during a busy service. Previous professional kitchen experience is essential. Long-term commitment only. No seasonal or short-term applications, please. THE REALITY OF THE ROLE We want to be completely transparent about the position before you apply. La Petite Bretagne is a small restaurant with a small kitchen team, which means that for a large part of your shifts, you will be expected to work independently and manage your section by yourself. There will not always be another chef next to you telling you what needs to be done. You need to be able to organise your own preparation, keep your section ready, manage multiple orders at the same time and stay in control when service becomes busy. That means strong organisation and the ability to work under pressure are extremely important. You will need to: • Organise your own mise en place., • Keep your section fully stocked and prepared., • Manage several orders at the same time., • Prioritise correctly during busy periods., • Work quickly without losing consistency., • Maintain excellent cleanliness throughout service., • Communicate clearly with the front-of-house team., • Stay calm and focused when the kitchen gets busy., • Take responsibility for your own section. If you need constant supervision or struggle to organise yourself during a busy service, this position will probably not suit you. If you enjoy being trusted, working independently and having ownership of your section, you will probably feel very comfortable here. YOUR ROLE As our Crêpier / Chef, you will be responsible for: • Preparing and cooking traditional savoury galettes and sweet crêpes., • Running your kitchen section independently., • Preparing ingredients and organising your mise en place., • Managing orders efficiently throughout service., • Maintaining consistency in every dish., • Monitoring stock levels., • Keeping your section prepared throughout the day., • Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards., • Keeping your workspace exceptionally clean and organised., • Communicating effectively with front of house., • Taking pride in every plate that leaves your section. ORGANISATION IS ESSENTIAL Being fast is important. Being organised while working fast is even more important. Our restaurant can become very busy, and because you will often be working independently, you need to think ahead. You should naturally be able to recognise: • What needs to be prepared next., • What is running low., • Which orders need priority., • How to organise your workspace efficiently., • How to stay clean while working quickly., • How to maintain the same standard when several orders arrive at once. We are looking for someone who does not wait to be told what to do. You see what needs doing and you do it. Fees generated on matters you have identified within existing client relationships, or on clients you have introduced to the firm, count fully towards your target. Bringing work in is therefore rewarded through the same bonus structure as doing the work. Salary & Uncapped Performance Bonus Guaranteed Basic Salary £35,000 gross per annum Your basic salary is guaranteed and is not dependent upon achieving the annual billing target. On-Target Performance Bonus The firm operates a transparent performance bonus structure. For qualifying annual fees up to the £180,000 target, the bonus is calculated at 10% of net qualifying fees, after deduction of: * £35,000 basic salary; and * £15,000 fixed annual office cost allocation. At £180,000 in qualifying annual fees, this produces: £35,000 basic salary + £13,000 performance bonus = £48,000 total annual earnings. Over-Performance Bonus Performance above the £180,000 annual threshold is rewarded at a higher rate. Qualifying fees above £180,000 attract an additional 15% bonus, without the £35,000 salary or £15,000 office cost deductions being applied again to those additional fees. There is no upper cap on the over-performance bonus. By way of illustration, qualifying fees of £220,000 in a year would produce total earnings of £54,000 (£35,000 basic salary + £13,000 target bonus + £6,000 over-performance bonus). Comprehensive Specialist Training We recognise that an NQ solicitor is at the beginning of their professional career. You will therefore receive structured training and supervision across our principal practice areas. Training will include: * SEND law, including EHCPs, annual reviews, mediation and First-tier Tribunal appeals; * Housing law and relevant civil and administrative law procedures; * Welfare benefits and associated appeals; * Social care law and disputes involving statutory services; * Deputyship and Court of Protection work; * Legal research, case strategy and professional drafting; * Client interviewing and case management; * Tribunal and court preparation; and * Advocacy and representation. • Identifying related legal needs across our practice areas: for example where a SEND matter also raises housing, welfare benefits, social care or deputyship issues and opening further matters where it is in the client’s interests;, • Business development for a specialist practice, including building referral relationships with schools, SENCOs, charities, parent and carer groups, advocates and other professionals; and, • The running of a modern law practice: file management systems, precedents, time recording, compliance and the commercial management of a caseload. You will initially work closely with senior members of the firm and will take on greater responsibility and independence as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop.

    We’re looking for a passionate, motivated and personable Sports Therapist / Massage Therapist to join the team at London Massage & Movement. This role is ideal for someone who wants more than simply delivering back-to-back massage treatments. We’re looking for a therapist who is interested in understanding why clients are experiencing pain or movement problems and helping them progress through treatment, rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance. The Role You’ll work with a varied client base, ranging from people dealing with everyday aches, pains and postural issues through to gym-goers, runners and recreational and professional athletes. Depending on your qualifications and experience, your role may include: • Sports massage and deep tissue massage, • Injury assessment and treatment, • Movement and postural assessment, • Rehabilitation and corrective exercise, • Mobility and movement sessions, • Strength and conditioning-based rehabilitation, • Developing rehabilitation programmes, • Supporting clients returning to training and sport, • Ongoing maintenance and injury-prevention treatment, • Providing excellent client education and aftercare You’ll be responsible for managing your own clients while working as part of the wider LMM team. Qualifications Applicants should hold a recognised qualification relevant to the position, such as Sports Massage, Sports Therapy or a similar therapy qualification. Additional qualifications or experience in rehabilitation, personal training, strength & conditioning, corrective exercise or movement assessment would be beneficial.
