The infrastructure is crucial to achieving net zero in the UK’s most carbon intensive industrial regions.This is a first-of-its-kind, utterly unique and extremely exciting start-up organisation. NEP is in an incorporated joint venture established solely to develop and operate CO2 transportation and storage infrastructure on behalf of the NEP Shareholders - BP, Equinor and Total Energies. Your new role The Financial Controller will play a key role in delivering NEP’s financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal control activities. Working within a small, high-performing team, the role ensures that NEP meets its obligations as a regulated incorporated joint venture delivering nationally significant carbon capture and storage infrastructure.The position is central to maintaining accurate, timely financial information and supporting the wider business with insight, governance, and strong financial discipline. The role works closely with the Senior Financial Controller and acts as a key interface with project, cost control, technical teams, and outsourced service providers.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the building of NEP’s finance capability from the ground up in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
