Make a difference every day. We're looking for caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Workers to join our Additional Learning Support (ALS) team at Stamford College. We have a range of opportunities available, including permanent positions, maternity cover contracts and one part-time vacancy. As a Learning Support Worker, you'll work alongside teaching staff to support students with additional learning needs, helping them to participate fully in learning, build confidence, develop independence and achieve their educational goals. The Learning Support Worker role includes: • Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups., • Helping learners stay motivated, engaged and confident., • Supporting literacy, numeracy and study skills., • Using assistive technology and learning resources., • Working closely with tutors and the wider ALS team to provide effective support., • Maintaining accurate learner records and contributing to reviews. We're looking for someone who: • Enjoys supporting others to succeed., • Is patient, caring and approachable., • Has Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)., • Has experience working with young people or adults with additional needs (desirable)., • Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively., • Is committed to safeguarding, equality and inclusion.
