A well-established, publicly listed UK consumer business, operating across the UK and Ireland, is searching for a Fractional Commercial Counsel to take real ownership of general commercial work within their in-house legal function. The role will take 3 days per week, and be based in the Milton Keynes office. You'll be trusted to act on your own judgement and shape how the business thinks about legal risk. What you'll own: • Commercial Contracts - Supplier agreements, agency arrangements, third-party deals - end to end., • Marketing & Advertising - Campaigns, promotions, T&Cs, licensing and high-value sponsorship deals., • Data Protection - UK & ROI compliance across the business and its franchise network., • Franchise & Finance - Standard franchise support, banking arrangements and loan documentation., • Brand & IP - Trademark and copyright enforcement, brand protection, reputational risk., • A UK-qualified Solicitor, 7-9 years' PQE, with strong in-house commercial experience - ideally in consumer, retail or a similarly fast-paced environment., • Someone confident operating independently from day one - knowing when to act and when to escalate, without waiting to be told., • Someone with the ability to translate complex legal matters into clear, commercial language for non-legal stakeholders.

Legal Counsel – Litigation West Yorkshire, 2 days in office per week IT/Telecoms sector A high-growth business services provider to the Technology and Telecoms sector is seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join its Legal Operations Team, working within a key organisation with well-known brands across Telecoms, Broadband and Media. The Role The Legal Counsel will be expected to bring and defend claims on behalf of major consumer brands, across a range of areas including • breach of contract, • debt recovery, • discrimination, • credit file issues, • data protection, • property damage claims The Legal Counsel will join an experienced Consumer Litigation department, advising internal and external stakeholders, mentoring junior colleagues, and driving process improvement for legal operations. You will be expected to stay current with consumer law and regulations, contribute to research projects, and identify legal risks. Required Skills & Experience • UK qualified Solicitor or CILEX (0–3 years’ PQE) with Commercial/Consumer/Civil litigation experience., • Exceptional relationship management, legal reasoning, commercial focus, and problem-solving abilities., • High attention to detail, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to change in a fast-paced environment.
