The Role You will take responsibility for the successful delivery of complex civils, groundworks, and structural packages, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead project delivery to agreed quality, safety, programme, and commercial targets Manage QA/QC, ensuring works meet specifications and standards Drive health, safety, and environmental compliance, including RAMS, permits, lifting plans, and daily briefings Oversee technical, design, and engineering coordination, including design changes and information flow Plan and control logistics, materials, and procurement to support programme delivery Monitor and manage project programmes, milestones, and KPIs Work closely with the Contracts Manager on budgets, cost control, and reporting Lead, mentor, and develop the project team Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams Identify, escalate, and resolve key project risks while supporting continuous improvement Skills, Knowledge & Experience (Desired, Not essential) Higher-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Structural Engineering Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, structures, and infrastructure Proven Project Management experience with a groundworks, civils, or infrastructure specialist contractor Methodical, proactive planner with strong programming and scheduling ability Commercially and contractually aware Confident communicator with strong leadership skills What’s on Offer Travel/Car allowance 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Private healthcare Company pension Health care cash plan Life assurance Cycle to work scheme Car leasing scheme Discounted gym membership Buy/sell holiday options Volunteering days Additional discounts and cashback schemes Apply now if this role aligns with your experience, and a senior consultant will contact you to discuss the opportunity further
