Role Summary The IFS Technical Consultant is responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining the IFS Applications suite to meet business requirements. This role focuses on technical design, integrations, customizations, and support across multiple IFS modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, Projects). Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain customizations, reports, and interfaces within IFS Applications (e.g., IFS Cloud, IFS 10)., • Develop PL/SQL scripts, IFS configurations, and APIs to extend system functionality., • Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications., • Integrate IFS with other enterprise systems using SOAP/REST APIs, Aurena, or IFS Connect., • Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning., • Develop and maintain Crystal Reports, Quick Reports, and Lobby elements., • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IFS-related issues., • Participate in data migration and system testing activities during implementation projects., • Maintain documentation of all developments, changes, and system configurations., • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field., • 3+ years of hands-on experience with IFS Applications (preferably IFS 9/10/Cloud)., • Strong knowledge of:, • PL/SQL and Oracle Database, • IFS Connect / Integration Frameworks, • Aurena / Lobby / Custom Objects, • APIs and Web Services (SOAP/REST), • Experience with IFS report development (Quick Reports, Crystal Reports)., • Familiarity with IFS Data Migration tools (Migration Jobs, Templates, Data Loader)., • Understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.)., • IFS Certified Technical Consultant (IFS Academy Certification)., • Experience with IFS Cloud implementations or upgrades., • Exposure to DevOps tools, Git, and CI/CD pipelines., • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset., • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams., • Eagerness to learn and stay updated with new IFS technologies.
