Your Key Responsibilities\n As a Chargehand Linesman, you will: \n\n • Be an integral part of the Overhead Line team, erecting poles, changing transformers, and performing a variety of overhead line activities.\n, • Construct, maintain, and replace overhead electrical networks up to 33kV.\n, • Ensure all work aligns with Freedom standards, policies, and customer requirements.\n, • Lead by example, safely executing tasks as directed.\n, • Participate in risk assessments and continuously review site conditions.\n, • Work safely in accordance with company and statutory safety requirements.\n, • Complete all tasks efficiently and in line with company procedures.\n, • Install and construct overhead electricity networks to high-quality standards.\n, • Mentor and support the development of fellow team members.\n, • Maintain your own competence in line with legislative and customer requirements.\n, • Contribute to the safe and effective delivery of Freedom’s operations.\n, • Promote and adhere to SHEQ policies and safety instructions.\n, • Maintain issued vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent condition.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n To thrive in this role, you should have: \n\n • A background and experience as a Linesperson.\n, • Experience working on dead networks and/or live LV working.\n, • IPAF accreditation (training can be provided).\n, • A full UK driving licence.\n, • NRSWA Operative qualification.\n, • A strong awareness of safety and a risk-averse approach.\n, • The ability to interact professionally with the public.\n, • A team-oriented mindset, enthusiastic and committed to high performance.\nWhy Join Us?\n At Freedom, we believe in evolving our benefits to attract and retain the best talent.
