An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive Quality Control Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leading teams, driving performance, and ensuring high standards across safety, quality, and efficiency. Youll play a key role in the daily operations, working closely with both frontline staff and management to deliver consistent results and continuous improvement. Apply no for an immediate response! Shift Pattern: Choice of Dayshift or Backshift Monday to Friday AM (06:00- 14:00) Monday to Friday PM (14:00- 22:00) The Job you will do: Daily Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), through the covering and checking of paperwork within Production. Carry out routine audits e.g., Glass, Foreign Bodies, Internal audits and Paperwork HACCP, GMP and any other Ad hoc audit requirements. Complete intake and finished product quality checks. Support investigations into non-conformances Take ownership of conducting hand swabbing and swabbing of machinery. Support Production and the rest of the technical team if assistance required. Raise all internal non-conformances for repeat issues or significant Food Safety breaches. Follow up on any product which has been placed on hold. Work with the production team to understand why. Challenge any behaviour and non-adherence to procedures. Make such we are compliant. Check micro daily against any submission to identify issues. Support with QC checks on the production line. Calibration of probes and any other equipment deemed necessary Conduct checks such as Good In, Temperature, Stock Checks on fridges. Dealing with day-to-day quality concerns. Be reactive and proactive to customer audits, support the team by providing documentation to the auditor and preparing in advance of audits/visits. Supporting taste panels. Monitor safety, legality and quality of products produced. About You: Experience in a quality related role within the Food or FMCG industries Food Safety Level 3 qualified (training maybe required) HACCP Awareness High attention to detail Able to work to tight deadlines Communicate effectively with all levels of the business in a respectful and professional manner TPBN1_UKTJ
