Inventory & Stock Co-ordinator \n Location: Slough Pay Rate: £13.88 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm Contract: Temporary assignment for a minimum of 3 months with a possibility of extension \n Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service? We are looking for an Inventory & Stock Co-ordinator to join a busy operations team in Slough. \n This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and takes pride in ensuring stock is accurately managed and available when needed. \n This role is based within a busy automotive workshop environment that specialises in vehicle glass replacement and repair. It would particularly suit candidates who have experience as a Parts Advisor, Parts Assistant, Stores Person, Stock Controller, Warehouse Operative or in a similar role within a garage, automotive, motor trade, fleet, logistics or workshop environment. \n Role Overview \n As an Inventory & Stock Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of physical and system-based stock management, ensuring products are received, stored, tracked and supplied efficiently. You will play a key role in supporting operational performance while delivering outstanding service to both internal and external customers. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Manage all aspects of stock control and inventory accuracy.\n, • Receive, organise and monitor stock levels using company systems.\n, • Support and undertake stock deliveries as required.\n, • Ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.\n, • Maintain high standards of accuracy when completing paperwork and using IT systems.\n, • Build strong relationships with colleagues, technicians and customers.\n, • Resolve stock discrepancies and support continuous stock accuracy improvements.\n, • Plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively using multiple systems and applications.\n, • Support operational activities and undertake additional duties as required.\n, • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company standards.\n, • Represent the business professionally at all times.\n\n What We're Looking For \n\n • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or a stores/parts role.\n, • Experience within a garage, workshop, automotive, motor trade or vehicle parts environment would be highly advantageous.\n, • Excellent communication and customer service skills.\n, • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.\n, • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.\n, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n, • Basic computer skills and confidence using IT systems.\n, • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n, • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.\n, • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential\n\n If you're looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact within a busy automotive operation and have experience working with stock, parts or inventory, we'd love to hear from you. \n Please be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled. We are currently seeking an MLOps AI Lead & Databricks Platform Specialist to join a global end client, taking ownership of the Databricks platform and supporting the delivery of robust, scalable MLOps capabilities. We are ideally looking for someone on a permanent basis, although contract-to-permanent could also be considered. Location: Hybrid – 2 -3 days per week onsite in London, Covent Garden / Milton Keynes. • 3 – 5 years’ experience, • Proven experience managing data/analytics platforms and/or MLOps capabilities in a complex enterprise environment., • Hands-on experience operating Databricks (workspace administration, cluster policies, jobs, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, access controls, and production support), • Experience implementing MLOps practices across the model lifecycle (CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, reproducibility), • Strong stakeholder management; able to translate business outcomes into platform priorities and service commitments., • Experience working with security, risk, and governance teams to evidence controls for data and AI services, • Experience managing suppliers and delivery partners, including service performance and support processes., • Heavy on Databricks, • Own and manage the day-to-day operation of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and MLOps services, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and user satisfaction., • Lead platform service management activities, including incident, problem, change, and request processes, while coordinating support and escalation procedures., • Develop and maintain standardized MLOps frameworks, tooling, and best practices to support the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle., • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to operationalize ML models through CI/CD, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring capabilities., • Ensure robust security, compliance, and governance controls across the platform, including access management, data protection, audit readiness, and risk mitigation., • Own the Databricks platform roadmap, driving continuous improvement, technical standards, cost optimization, and scalable architecture patterns., • Manage vendor and supplier relationships, overseeing service performance, support activities, release planning, and commercial considerations., • Act as the primary platform stakeholder interface, providing guidance, training, documentation, and enablement to help teams effectively build and deploy data and AI solution #J-18808-Ljbffr
