We’re now looking for a Catastrophic Injury Lawyer to join our market-leading Complex Injury Team. \n This is your opportunity to work on high-value, multi-million-pound claims involving brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations, and fatal cases—alongside some of the most respected legal professionals in the field. \n \n Why This Role Stands Out \n\n • Work on catastrophic and complex claims valued up to £10m+\n, • Collaborate with industry-leading lawyers and insurer clients\n, • Gain exposure to cutting-edge legal and medical issues\n, • Play a key role in mentoring and developing junior talent\n, • Enjoy flexible hybrid working (minimum 1 day in office) \n\n What You’ll Be Doing \n You’ll be at the heart of complex litigation—managing or supporting high-value catastrophic injury claims from instruction through to resolution. \n Your Impact Will Include: \n\n • Managing a caseload of serious injury claims including ultra-high-value matters\n, • Advising on liability, quantum, and indemnity issues\n, • Working closely with a Lead Lawyer on multi-million-pound cases\n, • Building strong, trusted relationships with insurer clients\n, • Supporting and developing junior team members\n, • Contributing to initiatives that enhance Keoghs’ market profile \n\n What we're looking for \n We’re seeking a technically strong, commercially aware lawyer who thrives in a high-performance environment. \n \n Your Experience & Skills: \n\n • Qualified Solicitor (4–8 years’ PQE) or qualified CILEX lawyer\n, • Proven experience working on catastrophic or large loss injury claims\n, • Strong understanding of litigation, case law, and court procedures\n, • Ability to handle or support complex, high-value cases with confidence\n, • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills \n, • Calm under pressure, with strong prioritisation and organisational ability \n, • Defendant experience is ideal, but strong claimant backgrounds will also be considered\n\n \n We anticipate this role will be appointed up to Senior Associate level; however, this will ultimately depend on the successful candidate’s experience.
