Job Title: Systems Engineer-Product Security (Edgewing) Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems AIR site but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. Role Description: The Product Security Specialist ensures that security requirements are accurately applied to the design, development, validation and maintenance of GCAP products and systems. The Specialist provides domain expertise to assess risks, develops appropriate technical security controls, generates evidence for certification, and ensures compliance with policy, regulatory and contractual obligations. The role is hands-on, technical and deeply embedded in engineering and digital development activities, you will also support evidence generation required for Cybersecurity Airworthiness (DO-326B / ED-202B and related standards). Core Duties: • Apply product security requirements to system and subsystem design, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal and regulatory standards., • Produce and maintain product security engineering artifacts (risk assessments, control baselines, security posture statements)., • Execute the processes defined within the Product Security Management System (PSMS) and propose improvements when gaps or inefficiencies are identified., • Support evidence generation required for Cybersecurity, • Conduct security analyses, threat modelling and vulnerability assessments within the digital engineering environment., • Experience in product, system or cyber security engineering industries. We're looking for a Technology Maintenance & Project Engineer to join our TfL Tunnels & Pump Stations team based at Blackwall Tunnel. In this role you'll be the key point of contact between our main contract team, our technology subcontractor Cubic, TfL stakeholders, and other technical partners. You'll also play a vital role in coordinating and overseeing the technology workstream for one of London's most important transport infrastructure projects. Cyber Engineer • Contract Duration: 12 months, • Location: London or Sheffield (Hybrid - 2 days a week onsite) Day-to-day of the role: • Design, implement, and support Microsoft Sentinel infrastructure, including workspaces, data connectors, analytics rules, automation, and workbooks., • Engineer and maintain Azure security controls across core services, supporting secure cloud operations at enterprise scale., • Implement, enhance, and maintain security tooling to improve detection, monitoring, and response capabilities., • Design, deliver, and support certificate automation solutions, including lifecycle management and operational processes., • Work closely with networking teams to support secure architectures, traffic flows, segmentation, and connectivity patterns., • Actively support and participate in change approval processes, ensuring security requirements are met without impacting delivery timelines., • Provide senior-level support for BAU security engineering activities, ensuring stability and resilience of security platforms., • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and incidents across cyber tooling and infrastructure., • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, including infrastructure and configuration., • Solid Azure platform experience, particularly from a security and infrastructure standpoint., • Strong networking background, including understanding of network security principles, firewalls, VPNs, routing, and segmentation., • Experience with a range of security tools (SIEM, monitoring, detection, and response platforms)., • Proven experience delivering and supporting certificate automation., • Experience operating in enterprise or regulated environments., • Comfortable working across project delivery, change processes, and BAU support., • Experience working alongside SOC or security operations teams., • Scripting or automation experience (e.g., PowerShell, Python)., • Exposure to DevSecOps or Infrastructure-as-Code., • Pragmatic, delivery-focused approach to security engineering., • Comfortable acting as a senior point of reference across security, change, and delivery., • Able to clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs to engineers and stakeholders.

Cyber Security Engineer- London/Hybrid- £70,000-£80,000 The Cyber Security Engineer will be a pivotal member of the company's Security Operations Group and the wider Information Security Group. The role plays a key part in protecting the company's technology and data assets from cyber threats and contributing to reducing cyber risk. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and monitor security measures to protect technology & data assets., • Identify and define security requirements for technology assets., • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols., • Install, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot security platforms., • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks., • Participate in incident response efforts, including forensic examination of compromised systems., • Author reports include assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement., • Review information security tools and controls to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to information security standards., • Assist with information security risk assessment to identify exposures, assess mitigating controls, and recommend/implement action plans to minimize risk., • Work with IT to investigate, resolve, and respond to all information security incidents., • Monitor threat intelligence feeds and subscriptions for applicable threats to the firm., • Adhere to confidentiality policy, code of ethics, other firm policies/procedures, and compliance policies/procedures., • Research and assess potential threats, report issues, and assist with remediation activities., • Collaborate with IT teams to remediate security vulnerabilities., • Mentor junior security analysts and provide training sessions on best practices in information security., • Conduct security assessments through vulnerability scanning, assessments, and risk analysis., • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field., • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field., • Professional security management certification, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other similar credentials, is desirable., • Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer., • Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices., • Experience in building and maintaining security systems., • Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, cloud security, intrusion detection systems, endpoint security, identity and access management, log management, content filtering, etc., • Advanced knowledge of security platforms, threats, vulnerabilities and vulnerability management/remediation, identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, network traffic, system hardening, and incident response., • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods., • Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures., • Knowledge of current regulatory frameworks and guidance, compliance, security, and best practices related to information assurance, finance industry, and information technology., • Knowledge of vendor-agnostic cloud security concepts., • Knowledge of information security and standards, including but not limited to NIST CSF 2.0., • Possess a results-oriented, high-energy, self-motivated attitude and a strong commitment to customer service., • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills., • Possess solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
