The ideal candidate will be hard working and will have a can-do attitude. One year’s kitchen experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. The role is full time. The role includes a three month probationary period. You: - Will report to the Head Chef, Jake Dumbarton - Will assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting high quality food, in the Seasons style. - Will be familiar with all activities of the kitchen in terms of preparation, cooking and cleaning and will be prepared to do them efficiently. - Be capable of holding your own in a busy kitchen whilst under pressure. - Take ownership for all tasks, duties, instructions, and responsibilities that are assigned to you, ensuring that they are completed on time and to the required, high standard. - Show respect to the kitchen team as well as the front of house team, ensuring that communication is clear. - Will be enthusiastic and have a team player attitude. - Will have personal drive, to help up grow the business. - Will have the ability to organise your workload as well as using your own initiative. Duties: - Prepare, cook and present all dishes. - Ensuring the upkeep of food and hygiene regulations - Assist with the ordering of stock. - Receive deliveries and ensure they are put away correctly, whilst rotating stock. - Manage daily cleaning tasks, including pot washing.
