We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to join our commercial sales team within the carpets and flooring sector. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a high-impact role focused on developing and growing business within the specification market. You will be responsible for promoting and selling high-quality interior flooring solutions across a range of commercial environments including office, education, residential, healthcare, and retail sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales and specification-led selling. • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across the commercial flooring sector, • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, end users, office fit-out contractors, and flooring contractors, • Promote and specify flooring products into commercial projects at early design stage, • Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue growth objectives, • Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrationsWork closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction, • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities, • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline management, • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the flooring, interiors, construction, or building products sector, • Experience selling specification-led interior products into commercial projects, • Strong network within one or more of the following: architects, designers, fit-out contractors, flooring contractors, or end users, • Demonstrable success in winning and delivering large-scale commercial projects, • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, • Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team strategy, • Performance-related bonuses £10,000 - £20,000, • Company car / car allowance (if applicable) Hybrid, • Career development opportunities within a growing business, • Supportive and collaborative working environment, • Access to high-quality, market-leading products #J-18808-Ljbffr
