Driver / Warehouse Technician\nLocation: Uxbridge, Middlesex\nSalary: 30kFull-Time, Permanent (40 Hours Per Week)\n\nDriver / Warehouse Technician – Uxbridge\n\nOur client, a well-established and respected specialist equipment supplier based in Uxbridge, is seeking a reliable and motivated Driver / Warehouse Technician to join their growing team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining driving responsibilities with hands-on warehouse operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of equipment while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.\n\nAs deliveries are made directly to customers and clients, this role requires an individual who is professional, personable, and committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDeliver and collect goods safely and efficiently using a company-provided Luton electric van\nAct as a professional ambassador for the business when attending client sites\nProvide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships\nPlan and manage delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and collections\nLoad and unload vehicles in accordance with health and safety procedures\nPick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch\nReceive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries\nMaintain organised warehouse storage areas and stock locations\nComplete delivery documentation and basic stock control records\nCarry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects\nSupport general warehouse operations as required\n\nCandidate Requirements\n\nFull UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points\nPrevious experience driving Luton vans or similar light commercial vehicles is advantageous\nExperience within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or stores environment preferred\nForklift Counterbalance Licence desirable, although training may be provided\nExcellent communication and customer service skills\nProfessional and confident when interacting with clients\nGood organisational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team\nStrong work ethic with a flexible and proactive approach\n\nWorking Hours\n\n40 hours per week\nOccasional early morning or late evening deliveries may be required to meet client requirements\nThe company recognises the need for flexibility and will adjust working hours accordingly to ensure a fair work-life balance following any additional hours worked\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary\nCompany pension scheme\nFull training and ongoing development opportunities\nStable, long-term employment with a successful business\nFriendly and supportive working environment\nOpportunity to develop additional skills and qualifications\n\nAbout You\n\nYou will be a dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys both driving and warehouse-based duties.
