This role involves managing multiple contracts across sectors such as education, healthcare, local authority, and government-funded developments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements. Value of projects will be £0.5 to £5 million. Main projects will be refurbishments within a live environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and administer construction contracts from pre-construction through to final account - Oversee multiple public sector projects, ensuring performance, quality, and compliance standards are met - Lead contract negotiations, risk management, and dispute resolution processes - Monitor project progress, costs, and contractual obligations, implementing corrective actions where necessary - Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationships - Overseeing site-based project teams. - Ensure compliance with public procurement regulations and frameworks Requirements • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry - Strong knowledge of public sector projects and procurement processes - Extensive experience with standard forms of contract - Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively - NVQ Level 7 in construction management or construction related degree.
