About the role In your role as Project Manager, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to lead the AI Programme that involves working closely with the Executive Sponsor and senior management across the business to deliver against our defined AI Strategy. The project includes defining operating models, working closely with Business Sponsors and technology teams to establish and coordinate an AI research and innovation team, and delivering enterprise AI solutions. The project will require end-to-end project management skills including planning, execution, implementation and transition to BAU. Please note, this is a 8 month Fixed Term Contract. What you will be doing As a trusted part of the Operations team you will be responsible for: This role is a senior project management position within the USSIM Business Change Team and reports to the USSIM Head of Business Change. The key responsibilities are detailed below: To lead the AI Programme through the project lifecycle and ensure the programme is structured for successful delivery. To ensure appropriate frameworks and processes are in place to ensure: (i) definition of delivery plans that ensures identification of solutions that meet the business objectives, (ii) prioritisation and planning, (iii) understanding of downstream impact of change and the risks involved, and (iv) effective governance and reporting around the project. The role will involve dealing with the senior executive team and business stakeholders as well as working with other Business Change resources such as Business Analysts and Project Managers, key internal stakeholder teams will include Investment and Market systems, investment teams, Finance, Risk, Legal, Procurement, and Group IT. To be successful in the role you will have: Essential • Experience in delivering strategic projects., • Financial services experience (ideally asset management)., • High level of structure and organisation and the ability to work across teams., • Planning skills, including the ability to effectively prioritise competing priorities., • Logical, structured thought processes and good problem-solving skills., • Attention to detail., • Strong communication skills including presenting, with the ability to adapt communications to a range of different stakeholders including executives., • Ability to build and manage successful, motived and disciplined teams., • Self-starter, enthusiastic, dynamic yet practical and hands-on individual., • Proven record of strong influencing and relationship building skills at a senior level, and ability to challenge.
