The Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification group is recruiting Systems Engineering & Verification Engineers to fulfil exciting roles across our range of programmes. What you will be doing • Lead Systems Engineering, Validation & Verification across the entire product and programme life cycle. Integrate with and provide coaching, guidance, and training to engineers from other functions., • Facilitate the elicitation, maturation, and validation of requirements including customer, business, and technical (programme, product, manufacturing, services, facilities and test)., • Establish and maintain an appropriate information structure for the project (Customer, Business, System, Sub-System, and Component) and develop / maintain associated management plans., • Develop verification strategies, verification plans, and product development plans., • Develop certification / qualification strategies to satisfy external regulatory bodies., • Create clearance / acceptance documentation that meets the demands of the project., • Compile and deliver compliance / substantiation evidence for customers and external regulatory bodies. Who we are looking for • Be qualified to degree level in a STEM subject and with experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or Controls)., • Be capable of systems level thinking and have experience of deploying Systems Engineering techniques to solve complex problems., • Be familiar with the application of Systems Engineering methodologies and tools, such as MBSE, and relevant standards such as ISO15288., • Have relevant domain experience (Aerospace, Defence, Naval or other highly regulated sectors). Knowledge of gas turbines and associated regulatory requirements and processes would be particularly beneficial., • Possess excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills., • Be able to contribute effectively in a team environment, collaborating across different engineering disciplines and externally.
